Recently, at the renowned India Green Awards hosted by Progression Global, we gained well-deserved recognition as a frontrunner in Green Construction and Demolition Waste Recycling. These awards have been constituted to honour and celebrate the efforts and success of all key contributors who are playing a role in turning the dream of a sustainable greener planet into reality.
The environmental awards are classified into several categories and are open to all leading organizations in India engaged in activities related to improving the quality of life through sustainable environmental development. The 2022 edition featured a selection of entrants in a live forum event plus a wonderfully interactive and immersive online broadcast of the same.
With a global presence, our breakthrough sustainable sand solutions are revolutionizing waste management and recycling practices, paving the way for a smart, resilient, and sustainable future. The country’s first C&D Waste Recycling plant was supplied to Delhi in 2010 by us. Over the years more plants have been successfully commissioned in Delhi. Other cities, including Hyderabad, Thane, Pune and Surat, have chosen us to set up their C&D Waste processing facilities.
Speaking on the occasion, Nitin Dubey, Chief Revenue Officer, CDE Asia Limited, said, “We are honoured to be recognized for our advanced waste management solutions. Construction & Demolition Waste, if not managed properly can be a huge urban menace. Microdust particles from C&D Waste are a major contributor to air pollution. The C&D waste generation in India is estimated to be 500 million tonnes every year whereas less than 1% of this is recycled. Recycling the assorted wastes, like legacy waste, trommel fines, bottom ash, etc., allows customers to recover quality sand and aggregates for use in high-value construction applications including concrete and asphalt production.”
We would like to express our gratitude to Progression Global for serving as a driving force for the transformation of society into a sustainable community through environmental development and for recognizing our work towards creating a waste-free India.
